Under the theme “It’s time to integrate Chagas disease care into the primary health care network,” the National Institute of Health, together with the CUIDA Chagas project, led the commemoration of World Chagas Disease Day in Colombia with a forum in the city of Yopal and a four-team soccer tournament in the corregimiento of Guachaca, in Santa Marta.

In Yopal, the event was supported by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the Casanare Health Secretariat, the Yopal Mayor’s Office, E.S.E Salud Yopal, the Hospital de la Orinoquía, and Asochagas.
